Our activities are managed on a day-to-day basis by Marc ALLOUCHE.

Bi-cultural entrepreneur with more than 20 years of international top-tier experience gained at prestigious firms, both in Israel and in Europe, within the following areas: venture capital, private equity & real estate investments / entrepreneurship, general management & BoD membership / corporate finance, strategy consulting, audit & transaction services.

Marc was among the pioneers in venture capital / private equity investments as well as in corporate advisory between Israel and Europe. First European CPA ever relocated to a Big 4 in Israel, he was notably responsible for the creation of leading corporate finance practices dedicated to innovative companies both in Israel and in Europe. He has been involved with hundreds of corporations and investors across numerous industries.

Prior to NFI, Marc served at the following positions:

Head of Alternative Investments Division of HAREL Insurance Investments & Financial Services, one of the most prominent institutional investors in Israel. Management of a global portfolio of about $ 1 Billion, focusing on venture capital, private equity, real estate and infrastructure investments, both through a Fund of Funds activity (investment in 80 funds worldwide) as well as on a direct basis.

Deputy CEO – Investments and Strategic Development of SGPA, a French leading private equity group performing LBO takeovers of mid-sized companies. In charge of supervising, developing and creating synergies within a group of 7 companies (350 people) and responsible for sourcing, screening and performing new investments and build-ups.

CEO of one of SGPA’s portfolio companies for turnaround purposes – retail chain (31 large stores, 60 m$ rev., Europe/China). Responsible for exiting from a severe management crisis situation, brand repositioning (products/marketing/outlets), business development (notably e-commerce), workforce reorganization, financial & legal improvement.

Managing Director & Founder – Private Equity Advisory Group of RUSSELL BEDFORD International (Europe / USA / Asia / Israel), in France, in charge of cross-boarder corporate finance, transaction services, audit and restructuring missions notably at numerous Technology and Life Sciences companies on behalf of many famous Private Equity players and international corporations.

Co-founder of an Israeli & French VoIP Service Level Management venture, backed by ENST – Telecom Institute (European leading information/communication research & innovation institute).

Vice President of NESSUAH ZANNEX Venture Capital in Israel, managing The AG-Tech Fund, a Life Sciences and Agritech VC fund, in strategic alliance with US BANCORP Piper Jaffray. In charge of the screening & investment process  and contribution to the development of the portfolio companies (Director positions).

Concurrently Managing Director of one of the portfolio companies (active in the medical waste treatment field), in Israel, for turnaround purposes. Successful turnaround and exit completed.

Manager – Corporate Finance & Strategy Consulting at KPMG – Somekh Chaikin in Israel. Co-founder of the Technology Group: Strategy Consulting, Fundraising, M&A and IPO advisory for numerous start-ups. First European CPA transferred from a Big 4 in Europe to Israel (prior to be a member of KPMG, Somekh Chaikin was the representative office of PRICE WATERHOUSE in Israel)

Senior Advisor – Audit and Corporate Finance at PRICE WATERHOUSE (PwC) in Paris, advising large French and international corporations for valuation, M&A, operational & financial Audit purposes.

Was Chairman – Private Equity & Real Estate Committee at ISRAEL-FRANCE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY in Tel-Aviv.

Through 2009/2014 was member of the Board of Directors and of the Audit and Compensation Committees of XTL BIOPHARMACEUTICALS (TASE: XTL; NASDAQ: XTLB), an Israeli biotech company, and through 2013/2014 was member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Strategy Committee of INTERCURE (TASE: INCR), an Israeli medical devices company. He also incepted a French-Israeli innovative venture standing on the edge between Healthcare, Organics and Food.

Nowadays, in addition to its functions at NFI:

– He teaches Management Control, Corporate Strategy and Taxation within the MBA – International Hospitality program at Vatel in Israel (the leading international business school dedicated to hospitality, tourism and restaurants businesses, with 31 campuses around the world).

– He is a Business Mentor (volonteer) at TheHive, an international startups accelerator, run by Gvahim, which operates two programs in Tel-Aviv and Ashdod, providing entrepreneurs, immigrants, and returning citizens with tools and mentoring to create and develop their startup in Israel.

He holds a MBA – major in Corporate Finance and Accounting (« MSTCF ») – and a BA in Economics, from Dauphine University – Paris IX (Dauphine University is one of the best European business schools and « MSTCF » program is the highest ranked of its kind in France). He is also a Chartered Public Accountant. His Thesis « Expanding to Israel: an interesting venture for European corporations as part of their international development strategy? Opportunity analysis and feasibility guide » entered the CPA National Library in France.
